Improve Your Life Series: The positive emotions necessary to create an abundant positive mindset. Do you daily practice them or are you stuck in a fight-flight-freeze state?
This is part 10 of a series in which I am going to address some necessary steps we need to take to improve our life and create abundance.
Some are well known and other less. Most of them are simple steps and yet most of us struggle to take them and to make them habits even though we know how important they are for improving ourselves and our lives.
By following all of these steps we want, at the same time, to improve different life's areas and create a better overall balance.
We must remember in fact that we are complex beings made of body, mind, and spirit and we must take care of all these aspects if we want to become our best version and create an abundant life.
When I say "abundant life", I mean happiness, success, health, wealth and longevity. Yes, we can have it all!
So, take the steps. Create the habits of doing them day in and day out. Little by little. Start by crawling, then walking, and finally running. Keep it simple.
You don't need to master all the steps, tools and habits. Just apply them as simply as possible. Most of the time with minimum application, you can already receive most of the benefits.
As science shows us in most cases being a master only benefits you a little bit more compared to someone that is an advanced beginner. That is why it is better to apply as many healthy positive simple steps, tools and habits as possible, rather than just mastering one or few.
Furthermore, most of them are very well integrated with each other, and it is easy to apply most of them during your morning and evening routines. So keep it simple. Keep it short. Keep it small. Keep it constant and consistent.

Today, in part 10, I want to talk about the positive emotions we need to practice if we want to create happiness, health and live longer.
And we are going to see a necessary mindset shift you need to take for reducing the Fight, Flight, Freeze Responses negative effects, get unstuck quickly and easily create an abundant positive mindset and life.
In part 9 I have talked about Gratitude. Today I want to go deep and talk about what I call the 2 divine trinities and why you need to choose and embrace them.
Forgiveness, Acceptance and Gratitude and Compassion, Kindness and Love.
The amygdala is the part of our brain responsible for activating the Fight, Flight, Freeze Responses. This is an ancestral response which developed with the purpose to help us become aware, react to and survive in dangerous environments and situations. It is normal for the Fight, Flight, Freeze Responses to be activated when we are dealing with negative people, emotions and situations. However nowaday, most of the times, is not really necessary. Most of the times we are not in real dangerous situations.
With all modern society stress we live in, the response is very often activated even when is not needed and many times we even get stuck in this state.
If in the short term it is a useful and benefic state, in the long term it will damage our bodies and minds.
As we know, negative emotions and behaviors are normal. We don't need to negate them or consider them a shame. Negative emotions and responses are normal and natural. It is important to acknowledge them in order to better deal with them and let them go. If you deny them out of shame, pride or whatever you are just going to push them to hide in your unconscious mind, in your shadow from where they will control and negatively influence you without you even realizing it.
Therefore remember that anger, fear, hate, envy and any other negative emotions and responses are just natural. Don't deny them. Acknowledge them, accept them and let them go.
Yes, we need to let them go in order to become our best self, create an abundant mindset and live a long healthy happy life.
If you react to hate with hate, to negative situations with negative emotions you are just going to fuel negativities and create more and more negative energy. Your response is going to be activated all the time. You are going to stuck with it. And this will damage your brain and body.
The answer for overcoming this negative loop lays in the 2 divine trinities.
If it is true that from one side we are separate from everything else fighting to thrive and survive we are also a connected part of everything. You can live in a nightmare of negative energy and emotions, stress, illness and death or you can live in a dream of love, happiness, health and longevity. The choice is yours.
If like me, you want to live an abundant life, you need to embrace the divine trinities.
The first trinity helps us to shift from a "war state" to a "peace state". The second makes us being proactive and push us to contribute in creating positive energy, abundance and miracles all around us.
Normally, when something goes wrong or is stressful, we are pushed to fight, flight or freeze. When someone is not nice with us for example, it is normal to get upset, annoyed or feel angry. But while is normal and occasionally useful in most cases is detrimental. Therefore we need to shift away and switch mindset.
How do we do this? By embracing the Divine Trinities and applying them in our day to day life.
Here you go:
Forgive! Everybody is in fact, fighting a battle we know nothing about. They have their own reasons. Their own point of view. For most of the people is both easy and unavoidable to choose the simple, comfortable, selfish choice. They are not mean. They are just wired like that.
Accept the world for what it is. People for what they are. Don't expect it to conform to your "must" and "should". Accept the reality for what it is.
Be grateful for the good things and miracles which are and happen every day in your life. Also learn to be grateful for problems, setbacks, failure, negative situations which teach you lessons, make you grow and help you better enjoy your quite times and places which otherwise would be only a boredom.
Once you make such responses and emotions "second nature" it will become easy and quick to unstuck from a "war mindset" to a "peaceful mindset".
We can go even further by applying the second trinity. Why in fact should we just be happy to be and easily get in a calm peaceful state when in fact we can create abundance, positive energy, and miracles all around us?
Be compassionate. Everybody is in fact, fighting a battle we know nothing about. Understand and feel their pains. When you do, you will stop focusing on the annoyance they create in your life and start thinking about how you can help them.
Be kind. Do what your can to help them. By helping them you help yourself. You help everybody by making kind actions which will impact the world with positive energy and miracles.
And love. Love everything and everyone. Love is the answer. Learn to love your enemies. They are you in a different situation. Yes, because in fact, we are all one.
We need love. Love is the only choice you have if you want to become your best self, create an abundant life and positively impact the world.
You need love even if you are only interested in your career or business success. Love, in fact, will make you give more. And by giving your heart out, you will easily send out there your unique message. All of this will help you create interest, respect and trust.
You need love even if you are a selfish person. in fact, It is only through love that you can achieve your real greatness and live a real abundant life.
Please, keep in mind that I am not asking you to be a pushover. Make people respect you. Communicate clearly and be assertive. Be aware and keep away or avoid dangerous negative people and situations. Stand up and fight for what you believe. But pick your battle. Let go most of the times. Often fighting and arguing is useless. Use the trinities when you are forced to deal with negative people and situations. Don't overexpose yourself to stress and negativities. You need in fact to live a long healthy happy life for yourself and for impacting positively the life of the people you love and the world. To do this you must be at your best first! Therefore, be egoist and love yourself first when necessary!
Now, you are maybe wondering how do we make these positive divine emotions "second nature"?
By focusing on them and by daily practicing them.
Start with an evening review. When you review your day, think where you have failed and how you can improve it. Identify your weak link and commit on improving it during the next day. Write down a mantra to remind yourself about it and strength it. Recite it as you go through your day. Keep telling yourself you choose it and you choose to be it. Keep repeating why is good for you. State benefits of applying it and dangers and negative consequences of not applying it.
Focus also on the negative emotions as they happen and manifest. As you become aware of them, name then and let them go by choosing the divine trinities and their benefits. Never deny them. They are natural and sometimes necessary. Acknowledge them and let them go. Don't let them grow, expand or take control or they will ruin your day, your body, your mind, your abundance, your life and your longevity.

So practice it. First few minute per day. And then while you go, wherever you are and whatever is happening. Simple. Isn't it? Why aren't you daily working on it? Don't you want to be healthier? happier? live longer? being more positive and optimist?
