Hi,

This is part 5 of a series in which I am going to address some necessary steps we need to take to improve our life and create abundance.

Some are well known and other less. Most of them are simple steps and yet most of us struggle to take them and to make them habits even though we know how important they are for improving ourselves and our lives.

By following all of these steps we want, at the same time, to improve different life's areas and create a better overall balance.

We must remember in fact that we are complex beings made of body, mind, and spirit and we must take care of all these aspects if we want to become our best version and create an abundant life.

When I say "abundant life", I mean happiness, success, health, wealth and longevity. Yes, we can have it all!

So, take the steps. Create the habits of doing them day in and day out. Little by little. Start by crawling, then walking, and finally running. Keep it simple.

You don't need to master all the steps, tools and habits. Just apply them as simply as possible. Most of the time with minimum application, you can already receive most of the benefits.

As science shows us in most cases being a master only benefits you a little bit more compared to someone that is an advanced beginner. That is why it is better to apply as many healthy positive simple steps, tools and habits as possible, rather than just mastering one or few.

Furthermore, most of them are very well integrated with each other, and it is easy to apply most of them during your morning and evening routines. So keep it simple. Keep it short. Keep it small. Keep it constant and consistent.

Today, in part 5, I want to talk about the need to connect with other human beings and create profound meaningful relationships and what this means for our health, happiness, abundance and longevity.

On 2015 Robert Waldinger in a speak gave us the findings from The Harvard Study of Adult Development (the longest study of adult life that's ever been done) about the secrets to happiness, health, and success.

He said: "60 of our original 724 men are still alive, still participating in the study, most of them in their 90s. And we are now beginning to study the more than 2,000 children of these men. Here is what has been found.

We've learned three big lessons: first, social connections are really good for us and that loneliness kills. The second big lesson it's the quality of your close relationships that matters. And the third big lesson that we learned about relationships and our health is that good relationships don't just protect our bodies, they protect our brains. those people's memories stay sharper longer. The people in our 75-year study who were the happiest in retirement were the people who had actively worked to replace workmates with new playmates.

If you really want to be happy and live a long healthy life it is imperative for you to put an effort on connecting and cooperating.

We must create strong deep relationships. We must learn to let go pride and egos and work around challenges and problems and do our best to improve our close relationships and the social environment in which we are involved. We must try to understand the others and communicate with them at our best.

If you really want to achieve this, you must choose compassion, kindness, and love above all and let go pride and egos.

Simple. Isn't it? Why aren't you working on your broken relationships then? Why aren't you try to understand and communicate with each other? Why are you letting pride and ego destroying what is most important?

Take the right step and make the habits out of it! Change your life. Live better and longer!
