This is part 8 of a series in which I am going to address some necessary steps we need to take to improve our life and create abundance.
Some are well known and other less. Most of them are simple steps and yet most of us struggle to take them and to make them habits even though we know how important they are for improving ourselves and our lives.
By following all of these steps we want, at the same time, to improve different life's areas and create a better overall balance.
We must remember in fact that we are complex beings made of body, mind, and spirit and we must take care of all these aspects if we want to become our best version and create an abundant life.
When I say "abundant life", I mean happiness, success, health, wealth and longevity. Yes, we can have it all!
So, take the steps. Create the habits of doing them day in and day out. Little by little. Start by crawling, then walking, and finally running. Keep it simple.
You don't need to master all the steps, tools and habits. Just apply them as simply as possible. Most of the time with minimum application, you can already receive most of the benefits.
As science shows us in most cases being a master only benefits you a little bit more compared to someone that is an advanced beginner. That is why it is better to apply as many healthy positive simple steps, tools and habits as possible, rather than just mastering one or few.
Furthermore, most of them are very well integrated with each other, and it is easy to apply most of them during your morning and evening routines. So keep it simple. Keep it short. Keep it small. Keep it constant and consistent.

Today, in part 8, I want to talk about the need to know, acknowledge and accept our shadows.
Therefore, today we are going to talk about the "shadow". Not the physical one which we are aware of but the psychological one.
Negative thoughts, emotions, beliefs and behaviors are part of what we are. They developed because they were needed to help us to survive and thrive in a hostile environment.
Nowadays, often time, many of them are so unacceptable for our values, beliefs, education and society that they have been chased away in that black hole which is our unconscious mind.
But they are still there and they are still part of us.
If we negate and deny them, they will find a way to emerge and express themselves. And often, it will be in some strange dangerous inexplicable ways such as psychosis or illness. Yes, if they can't express oftentimes they will redirect toward us damaging us, our minds, our bodies and our lives.
If we want to live a long, happy and successful live we need to be aware of our shadows, know ourselves better and accept our true nature.
Inside of us, somewhere, hiding, there are also feelings and beliefs of anger, hate, racism, envy and more. They are part of us and they are natural. We need to understand and accept it.
If we deny, hide, chase them away, we are not doing any good to ourselves.
We need instead to acknowledge, accept and let them go.
We need to understand we are a nature of opposite. We need to learn and understand that each element has its own place and raison d'etre.
Only if we accept them, we can allow them to express in not dangerous ways and let go. Only in this way we can really create a long happy healthy balanced life.
When you feel angry, when you are afraid or anxious, when you hate or are envious, remember that it is just normal. Only if you acknowledge and accept it, you can let it express and go without damaging yourself or people around you.
Accept and let go the negatives and cultivate the positives.
Don't deny. Know yourself. Accept it. Take responsibility. Simple. Isn't it? Why aren't you working on increasing your awareness then?
Take the right step and make the habits out of it! Change your life. Live better and longer!
